What is the meaning of ( دُرّ ) and Why?

Mama Hessa ( my grandmother ) has Alzheimer's disease, yet occasionally she still sees herself as a young woman who led a rather opulent life. In order to convey this richness, I took inspiration from the pearls that were taken out of the Gulf Sea. Since my grandmother recalls this time in her life in this way, I added some basic Eastern elements to the hotel and enhanced the amount of natural light, which makes us feel cozy and roomy. Making the hotel fit for the modern day was the main goal.

CONCEPT STATEMENT

The concept of this hotel is a fusion of Arabian Gulf pearls and the sea itself, infused with Saudi touches. Inspired by the timeless elegance of pearls, the design palette features soft whites and captivating green and turquoise tones. Organic forms and fluid lines evoke the sea's tranquility, while traditional Saudi motifs add cultural pride. Natural materials, sustainable practices, and ethereal lighting complete the understated luxury, creating a harmonious and immersive environment.
